A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” -Lao Tzu
This mantra has been made true today as we gratify and appreciate the goodness of the Lord for giving the Office of the Chief, PNP-Human Rights Affairs Office (OCPNP-HRAO) the wonderful feat of not only passing the Proficiency Stage of the PNP Performance Governance System, but also achieving the highest coveted award, not to mention, the lone awardee for “The Gold Eagle Award” among the six awardees on October 23, 2017 at the NHQ, Camp Crame, Quezon City during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.
The award was presented by PDG RONALD M DELA ROSA, Chief, PNP and members of the PNP TWG for the P. A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030 to PCSUPT DENNIS A SIERVO, Chief, HRAO and USEC. SEVERO S CATURA, Chairperson of the HRAO Multi-Sectoral Advisory Council.
The OCPNP-HRAO may be depleted in number despite the national scope of our mission and mandate, and the demanding pace of activities, meetings, and requirements we have to deliver.
But like the men and women of the PNP Technical Working Group (TWG) for P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030, we at HRAO are also made of “sterner stuff”. We do not give up we always move forward with confidence and a positive attitude.
While we do not have the best of everything, we have always made the best of everything we have.
“Veni, vidi, vici!!!” - We came, we saw, we CONQUERED the Proficiency Stage of the PGS! Congratulations to the men and women of the PNP HUMAN RIGHTS AFFAIRS OFFICE. Together, let us fully institutionalize "Respect for Human Rights as a Way of Life in the Philippine National Police".
