In partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) of Germany successfully conducted the 3rd leg of the Philippine National Police - Civil Society Organization Forum on Rights-Based Policing held on November 10, 2016 at Alicia Hotel, Capt. F. Aquende Drive, Legazpi City, Albay. The forum was attended by 80 participants, as follows: 

Geneva, Switzerland.  The United Nations Committee Against Torture (CAT) convened at the Palais Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland from April 18, 2016 to May 13, 2016 for its 57th Session to examine mechanisms adopted by various State Parties in the punishment and prevention of acts of torture as well as to discuss national efforts to implement the rights enshrined in the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. 

February 4, 2016, Quezon City. “As fellow stakeholders of human rights, we are inspired by the spirit of solidarity and mutual cooperation. More than just responding to the requirements of human rights laws, we are here to jointly express our firm commitment to uphold the rights of all persons, including persons deprived of liberty, simply because we all need to preserve our inherent dignity and value as human beings.  We in the PNP need your support, but our success lies in a more vital factor, our collective will to confront human rights challenges.” This was the encompassing message of PDG RICARDO C MARQUEZ, Chief of the Philippine National Police as espoused by PDDG DANILO S CONSTANTINO, The Deputy Chief, PNP for Operations during the Closing Ceremony of the 1st National Summit on Torture Prevention
